1. General Provisions

Article 1 (Purpose)

The purpose of these Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as the "Terms") is to set forth the rights, obligations, and other relevant matters between HeyLocal (hereinafter referred to as the "Company") and its Members in connection with the use of the services provided by the Company.

Article 2 (Definitions)

The terms used in these Terms shall have the following meanings. Any terms not defined herein shall be interpreted in accordance with applicable laws or, if none, generally accepted business practices.

Article 3 (Amendment of Terms and Public Notice)

  1. The Company shall post the content of these Terms on the Service's registration screen, My Page, or other appropriate areas so that Members can easily check them. The specific content of the Terms is accessible via a linked page.
  2. The Company may amend these Terms to the extent that it does not violate appliable laws and regulations of the Republic of Korea.
  3. When the Company amends these Terms, it shall give public notice of the changes on the Service at least seven (7) days prior to the effective date. However, if the amendment materially affects the rights or obligations of Members, the Company shall give public notice at least thirty (30) days prior to the effective date and shall also notify Members individually.
  4. If a Member does not agree to the amended Terms, they may terminate the service agreement by withdrawing from membership.
  5. If the Company gives public notice of the amendment to these Terms and a Member does not withdraw from membership by the effective date or continues to use the Service thereafter, the Member shall be deemed to agree to the amended Terms.
  6. Matters not specified in these Terms shall be governed by applicable laws and regulations and general commercial practices of the Republic of Korea.

2. SERVICE AGREEMENT

Article 4 (Formation of the Service Agreement)

  1. The Service Agreement is formed when an individual applies for membership and the Company approves the application.
  2. Only individuals aged nineteen (19) or older, or business entities, may enter into the Service Agreement.
